Morimoto Architects Associates, Inc. pursues "forms that follow the climate".
Every place in the world has its own climate, and each climate has its own "architectural form. This means creating a way of living that suits the local climate, a space that matches the climate, materials available in the area, and a relationship with nature such as mountains, forests, and rivers, as well as the streetscape. The "form of architecture" has been cultivated throughout human history based on a different concept than that of the modern city. In the countryside and suburbs, where there is plenty of space, we believe that the most important thing for people's lives is to create a form that is in harmony with the climate.

In order to realize a form that is in keeping with the local climate, Morimoto Architects places great importance on the layout of the architecture. Considering how and what kind of architecture to place in a given location not only makes the most of the land, but also creates a relationship with the mountains, topography, nature, landscape, and townscape seen in the distance, and realizes the idea of living in a given location.
Even though the materials and equipment used may change over time, building in Japan, with its rich climate, is a way of living in accordance with that climate and inheriting the excellence of space creation that has been cultivated in that place.

   Before designing a building, it is necessary to plan how the building will be positioned in relation to the site. This is essential for large sites, multiple buildings and factories.    We support land searches throughout Japan by working with several real estate agents in Nabari and outside Nabari with Creative Real Estate, which specialises in land searches with architects.

   We will determine if it is feasible and appropriate to build a building in Japan before designing it, and advise you on the best way to build it. We will assist you in finding and sorting out issues or alternative possibilities for your project.

   We are experts in architectural design. Suburban and rural areas require different considerations than urban spaces. We pursue architectural spaces that suit the local climate.

5. Housing DesignHousing Design

   We design living spaces where people want to live and continue to live. We respond to all kinds of requests, such as the large lands characteristic of rural areas and designs that integrate work and residence, and co-create lifestyles with our clients.

   We realise the required new space appropriately. We propose improvements by sorting out the various factors, such as what can be used and what needs to be renewed.

    We can handle simple graphic design associated with architectural design, but we can also provide more specialized design and other services, using our network of universities, past employers, and local contacts to find the right person for the job. We can also handle projects that integrate spatial design and graphic design.

11. Photography

    We can of course arrange for architectural photography, but we can also provide suitable photographers for commercial photography of buildings requiring other skills, commemorative photos with employees, family memoirs, etc.
